A Brief Introduction of Servo System
A servo system, sometimes shortened to servo, is an automatic device that uses error-sensing negative feedback to correct the performance of a mechanism.
Servo motor is applied to equipments that need precise location. Such as: fixed-length, point to point movement, angle segmentation and so on. Within the range of rated speed of servo motor, the torque does not decrease. Meanwhile, servo motor is equipped with encoder feedback, so the position is very accurate. When the position of servo motor has error or over loading, servo drive will give alarm of fault. Servo motor and drive form a closed-loop system which can be used as PID regulation.
